Rec Hall Addition

Mark’s role for this project included both the Project Architect and Project Manager position. His work on this project included everything from schematics through occupancy, including documentation, assisting in presentations, interaction with the Construction Management team and University, answering all RFI's, and coordinating clarifications during construction. The program for this LEED Silver accredited project was a Student Fitness Center addition, Wilson Elementary Schooland renovations to the Wrestling program spaces. The project had a construction cost of $13,000,000 and was delivered in the fast-track method in cooperation with a Construction Manager. This project won multiple design awards including: 2008 Citation of Excellence Award, Learning by Design 2007 Grand Prize Winner, College Planning & Management's Education Design Showcase - Recognized for "Outstanding Architecture and Design in Education" This project was completed while employed at L.Robert Kimball and Associates
